Essence Challenged

Part 10 in The Essence Series

STORY - So here we go again. Just when you thought everything was going along fine, well, you have to sit back and think again. Nothing in life is perfect and no relationship is a smooth ride. Anyone who says they are is nuts, believe me I know. So why would a fictional relationship be any different? I hate stories where everything is a romantic tall tale. A little angst never hurt anyone. Okay, so maybe it has, but, in most cases it makes us and the relationship stronger.

In case one ever wonders. My husband doesn't always read all the stories, but he has kept up with each one through synopses and this time he suggested a scenario; so we took it and ran with his idea in chapters 17 and 18.

MUSIC - I broke with my own tradition this time. I have re-used a song. Just one and only this one would I ever think of using again. I think you will all understand why I chose to do so as you read the chapter (11)  it is with.

Story Disclaimer:
I want it to be known that I am aware that Colin Firth is a happily married family man. Likewise I am a blissfully married woman with two wonderful grown children. Actions and statements contained in this story are purely fiction and fantasy. I only know about THE MAN what is available to the general public via interviews, magazines and other various articles that are available to anyone who seeks it out. I, in no way, would infer that either he or I would do any of the things in the stories, nor would I condone them.
That said. It's a story. It is my fantasy. It's fiction and it's fun.
